In response to recent feedback from our valued customers and distributors regarding the durability of the current front lower suspension arm (RH1001-M03 / P100103010100) and rear lower suspension arm (P100103010200) under extreme bashing conditions, we have completely redesigned our tooling and are proud to announce a newly structured suspension arm set (Teczon - RH1013-MO5).
Mass production of these upgraded components has been completed, and they will be implemented in upcoming factory shipments to significantly enhance product longevity and overall driver satisfaction.
This upgrade specifically targets the stress points encountered during high-impact off-road driving. By optimizing the mechanical structure and utilizing a new, high-toughness composite material, we have drastically reduced the risk of breakage.
The updated part numbers for the new suspension arms are as follows:
11106: New Front Lower Suspension Arm (Teczone-1013 / P101305010100)
11107: New Rear Lower Suspension Arm (TecZone-1013 / P101305020100)
Performance Validation: 3-Meter Drop Challenge
To validate the extreme durability of the new material, VRX Racing engineers conducted rigorous, real-world hard-bashing tests using the 1/8 scale COBRA (RH818), which weighs in at 4KG.
As documented in our newly released YouTube footage—the3-Meter Drop Challengeand theNew vs. Old Material Comparison—the RC vehicle was repeatedly dropped from a 3-meter-high metal ladder directly onto solid concrete.
Test Results:
Superior Impact Absorption: Whether sustaining a direct nose-dive impact to the front bumper or landing heavily on a single suspension arm, the new Teczon composite arms exhibited exceptional flex and rebound characteristics. They successfully absorbed the kinetic energy without snapping, fracturing, or suffering structural failure.
Material Triumph: Compared to the legacy material, which could experience brittle fractures under extreme stress, the new formula achieves an optimal balance of rigidity and flexibility, ensuring it can handle massive jumps and unforgiving terrains.
