Intro.
Amazon was among the first e-commerce channels through which VRX RACING reached online shoppers. Working through a dealer partner, we supplied vehicles and parts that served buyers across North America and Europe — a channel that helped establish the brand's online presence before our current distribution network took shape.
Challenge.
Selling on Amazon is a different discipline from selling to a distributor, and three things defined the channel:
Compliance documentation that left nothing to chance. Amazon requires certification and safety documents for toys and battery-powered products; missing paperwork meant suspended listings, not warnings.
Returns and after-sales at marketplace speed. A buyer can start a return with two clicks, and every return eats into the seller's metrics. Product pages, packaging and manuals all had to work hard to keep that number down.
FBA inventory rhythm. Stocking the wrong depth meant either storage fees on slow movers or — worse for a channel — stockouts during peak seasons, when ranking momentum matters most.
Solution.
Factory-side documentation. We kept certification files (CE, FCC and battery transport documents) current and delivered them with every shipment, so the dealer never had to chase paperwork.
Packaging that travels and scans well. Amazon-ready labelling and reinforced packaging built for the FBA chain, protecting both the product and the seller's defect rate.
Spares and after-sales support from the factory. When a buyer needed a part, the dealer could draw on our parts supply chain instead of writing the sale off — which is what keeps ratings alive.
Results.
The channel ran for several years across North America and Europe, helping establish the VRX RACING brand name among online RC buyers.
At its peak, listings covered the US, UK, DE, FR, IT and ES marketplaces, with a catalog spanning vehicles and spare parts.
Reviews accumulated across listings during that period helped validate the brand with online buyers before our current channel mix took over.
