At VRX Racing, we are constantly refining our RC platforms to deliver maximum durability and performance. Today, we are excited to announce a significant factory upgrade to our K-RH1026 chassis design, providing superior drivetrain reliability for our drivers right out of the box.
Moving forward, all newly manufactured models utilizing the K-RH1026 chassis will feature a fully integrated gear cover as standard equipment.

Why the Upgrade?
In off-road racing and bashing, keeping dirt, rocks, and debris out of your transmission is critical. While our previous layout delivered excellent power transfer, the exposed gears were susceptible to debris ingress. Our engineering team has redesigned the upper plate and rear upper plate to seamlessly integrate a protective gear housing.
This new cover fully shields the pinion and spur gears, drastically reducing wear and tear, preventing debris-related binding, and ensuring your power delivery remains smooth and consistent in even the harshest driving conditions.

Upgrade Path for Existing Owners
We haven't forgotten about the drivers currently running our legacy chassis design. If you already own one of the affected models, you can easily retrofit your vehicle to include this new gear protection system.
To upgrade your current chassis, you will need to order the following parts and hardware from your local dealer or directly through vrx-racing.com:
